Open Book Online Exam

Students work on an exam online from home within a defined period of time via the ILIAS test object within a few hours. A wide range of different task formats can be used for Open Book online exams, from free and cloze texts to answer-choice procedures. Depending on the task type, automated evaluations may be possible. The time periods and the authentication of the students are controlled by ILIAS via KIT account. Aids are allowed.

As an introduction we recommend the recording of the webinar: Digital Prüfen mit ILIAS - Eine Option fürs WiSe 20/21? from 25.11.2020 as well as the video: Online Exams with ILIAS - Creating Test Questions, Adjusting Test Settings on the Corona Webinar page.

Checklists, click instructions and templates can be found collected in a material folder in ILIAS (You must be logged in to ILIAS to access the content. The contents are only released for KIT employees).
