The ILIAS workshops usually take place in the rooms of the ZML, Karl-Friedrich-Str. 17, building 08.03. The registration is done via the registration form, which is linked at the respective dates.
All ILIAS workshops are held in German.

Webinar: Basics on ILIAS
The following topics will be covered:
- how to create and design your own course environment in ILIAS
- how to define access rights and roles in a course
- how to structure course content and materials
- how to supervise exercises via ILIAS.
The event is designed as a workshop. This leaves plenty of room to try out applications yourself. In addition, the workshop offers you an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with lecturers from other departments on the use of e-learning.

The block on material management is dedicated to topics such as:
- Different ways to manage information and learning materials in a meaningful way
- Selected objects for the distribution of learning material, apart from the classical file upload
- Automation of processes such as deadlines and submissions
The block on structuring courses with ILIAS covers the following points:
- Different possibilities to structure the course room
- Session-based structure
- Context-based structure

In an introductory block, the elements for structuring an ILIAS course room are first presented in a condensed form and the respective application possibilities and limitations are illuminated.
The second block is dedicated to the page design options in ILIAS. Here, the various elements of the "Design page" option are dealt with and their possible uses are presented and discussed. These include, for example:
- Text blocks and column design
- Material lists
- Accordions
- Images/audio/video
- Blocks
The third block shows the possibilities of adapting existing style elements for page design and creating your own.
The event is designed as a workshop with a focus on creating your own page design and styles.
