Science Camp Climate and Environment

What influences our climate? How can we recognize changes in our environment? At the Science Camp: Climate & Environment, you have the chance to become researchers yourself.

Together we will explore the atmosphere, the water cycle, ecosystems and soils. We will investigate the influence of humans and the city on the climate - with experiments, research and our own data collection. We can carry out experiments together in the KIT wind tunnel, conduct research in the Theodor Rehbock river engineering laboratory and launch a weather balloon to record live data.

In addition, we will exchange ideas with climate and weather researchers and gain exclusive insights into current research topics. Throughout the camp, you will be accompanied by students and staff - giving you an insight into university life and the various degree programs.

Of course, there will also be plenty of fun: While eating pizza together, playing games or visiting the Europabad, there is enough time to exchange ideas and simply switch off.

Do you have any questions or need support? Then please get in touch with us. It is important to us that everyone who is interested can take part in the camp!
