Good practices: Digital on-campus exams

Digital examination formats have become increasingly relevant in recent years and offer new opportunities for the flexible, application-oriented and competence-oriented design of examination tasks and situations. On-campus examinations such as the upload examination in the pool room or the online examination with mobile devices combine the advantages of traditional face-to-face examinations with the benefits of digital examinations.

We interviewed lecturers at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) who have already gained experience with on-campus exams and can therefore report on their practical experience.

Innovative digital examination scenarios, which are characterized by a strong learner focus and competence orientation, are being tested in the joint project Partnership for Innovative E-Examinations (PePP). You can find out more about the pilot projects at KIT here.
