Science Camp Future Lab: Rethinking mobility

How do you get to school every day? And how would you prefer to get there? Will we soon be traveling through smart cities in zero-emission trains, sharing autonomous vehicles or taking to the skies in air cabs? And how can we create mobility that is not only innovative, but also sustainable and fair for everyone?

The Science Camp Future Lab is all about the mobility of tomorrow - and your ideas! You can dream, experiment and build your own future scenario. No right or wrong answers, no guidelines: You decide what mobility should look like.

Together with scientists from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and experts from futurology, you will discover what the future could be like. You will learn to recognize trends in mobility and develop your own future scenario. Questions such as:Which solutions are realistic? Which visions need courage? And how can we design mobility in such a way that it connects people instead of excluding them? Contribute your ideas! Your thoughts, your questions and your perspective are crucial if we are to make the mobility of tomorrow fair, sustainable and worth living.

During the five-day camp, you will work with creative methods and digital tools (3D printers, podcast studio), develop your own concepts and build prototypes of your ideas for the future - from smart transportation systems to innovative means of transport. You will discuss with researchers, gain insights into current projects and work in a team on solutions that can really make a difference. It's not just technology that counts, but also creativity, team spirit and your perspective.

Your ideas can be more than just visions: Whether it's a business model, campaign or prototype: you decide how far you want to go. At the end, you present your vision of the future to an audience and show how you would like mobility to be in the future. Are you in?
