Upload check in the pool room

In the case of the upload examination in the pool room, one or more tasks are made available to the examination participants for download via ILIAS. The tasks are processed in a specified time window on a pool computer.

A virtual machine is started on this computer, which contains all the programs required for the task. Additional aids as well as access to online resources can be released according to the examination conditions or restricted for the period of the examination. At the end of the processing period, students upload their results in the format assigned by the examiner as a submission in ILIAS. The specific time period for the submission and the authentications of the participants are controlled via the KIT account.

In this scenario, third-party applications used in the course can also be used for examination tasks via the customizable examination environment. In this way, realistic tasks can be processed in the exam and practical skills can be determined without changing the medium.
