Needs-Based Support Programs to Promote AI Competence

Generative AI is fundamentally transforming work, teaching, studying, and exams. At the same time, the requirements for one’s own AI competence are constantly evolving. The needs often vary considerably across departments, courses, and individual instructors. To address this diversity, we offer needs-based professional development programs that are specifically tailored to your questions, circumstances, and targets. The target is to support faculty members and those who work with students in using AI effectively for teaching while simultaneously fostering students’ AI literacy in a targeted manner.

You can choose between two formats:

  • Needs-Based Workshops for Academic Departments
  • Individual mini-coaching sessions for courses

While the workshops are aimed at departments, departments, or other organizational units, the mini-coaching sessions support faculty members with specific questions related to individual courses. Both formats are offered as part of the GenAI∂KIT project and are free of charge for you.

Needs-Based Workshops for Academic Departments

Our workshops are designed for departments, departments, or other organizational units and are tailored to the needs of the participants. These workshops are designed to help you

Unlike standardized training programs, the content is not predetermined but is developed based on a needs assessment for your target audience.

Both the content and the duration are agreed upon jointly. Depending on your needs, workshops can last, for example, three to five hours.

  • Assessment in the Age of Generative AI
  • Planning and Designing Courses with AI Support
  • Creating learning and teaching materials with AI

Of course, other topics can also be addressed. The specific content will be tailored to the participants’ needs.
