As a central scientific institution at KIT, we combine subject-matter expertise, pedagogical proficiency, professional media production and technical expertise to actively shape the future of higher education and advance digital transformation. By closely linking research and services, we can respond flexibly to current challenges and develop innovative solutions for teaching, research, and administration.
We coordinate university-wide innovation initiatives and promote collaboration and dialogue within KIT and with external partners. With the University Network for the Digitalization of Teaching Baden-Württemberg (HND-BW), we are networked throughout the state, drive cooperative developments and contribute to the strategic positioning of digital university teaching. In particular, by pooling our expertise in the field of digital teaching and learning formats and in the use of generative AI, we strengthen contemporary, impactful teaching and learning - at KIT and beyond.
We develop and test new approaches to digital teaching and learning - from AI solutions to digital examination formats. New findings flow directly into our offerings, and proven solutions are sustainably integrated into KIT's structures.
