Born in 1967, studied biology in Constance, environmental protection at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences (among others) and completed a master's degree program in adult education at the TU Kaiserslautern while working. Since 1997 at the Center for Technology-Enhanced Learning (until 2015 Center for Open and Distance Learning). Initially involved in the conception, development, organization and evaluation of blended learning scenarios, especially in teacher training in the state of Baden-Württemberg (topics included "Molecular Biology" and "Science and Technology"). Executive Director, Managing Director since 2007, responsible for project acquisition and coordination. Other areas of work include the conception and development of media-didactically sound offers in university education and continued education as well as advising continued education institutions on the strategic and operational use of e-learning.
